This creative was a top performer for this campaign and yielded the most purchase conversions, impressions, and engagement for multiple weeks. This video creative garnered over 3 million impressions and a 700% roas over it's lifetime. This was also one of the best performing creative in the history of Lokai's entire ad account.
SUMMARY
Lokai's collaboration with Disney led to the creation of Disney-inspired bracelets, for which I oversaw the creative direction, management, design, and copy for their marketing campaign. The campaign drew inspiration from Disney's social media presence and various content across Instagram and Facebook. We targeted diverse audience segments, including Disney fans, film enthusiasts, general audiences, toy and collectible aficionados, Netflix viewers, charity supporters, and animation lovers. The campaign exceeded Lokai's KPIs, generating a 600% return on ad spend and maintaining strong performance for weeks and months post-launch.
The above images showcase the entire product collection in the their individual shots. Some of the best performers included just these very simple jpgs as is. The Mickey Mouse, Lilo & Stitch, and Nightmare Before Christmas bracelets yielded the best results respectively.
The lifestyle shots for the Lokai x Disney campaign were produced by Lokai's content creator following the creative direction I outlined. Leveraging insights from past performance data, we focused on showcasing the product on the wrist or in hand, which resonated well with our audience. Additionally, incorporating elements related to the character featured on the bracelet—such as Buzz & Woody in the background for Toy Story bracelets or mouse ears for the Minnie Mouse bracelet—yielded excellent results.
Disney gave us access to a library of content that we could use for this campaign including the animation in this creative which was edited in combination with the matching products.
We also had the ability to request clips from specific properties (pending an approval process) given we follow their strict guidelines.
The Lilo & Stitch bracelet was surprise for us. Nobody had suspected that sales wise it would be the 2nd strongest bracelet, trailing only behind Mickey Mouse.
